This is a photo of us before we went to the Ball, isn't my dress Marilyn Monroe-ish?
Last night we went to the Ball , a fundraiser for Cancer research. It was nice to see all of our friends and there was also a chinese auction . We spent $20 on raffles and placed them in the bins of the prize we were trying to win. Well! I won TWO prizes!! Luck was on my side last night,and I won a $70 facial to Elizabeth Grady Spa and a 36 count cupcake with a cake top gift cert. that I'm saving for the kids b-day party. I was stoked!
This w/end I am working Saturday night, a fundraiser for St. John-St. James School for 300 people at the Times Bldg.downtown. That should be a good one.
Below is a layout I did of Samantha having a b-day party for one of her dolls (how cute is that)? Just before her dad came home and had a tea party w/ her.

I love that dress!! But, to answer your question....yes it does remind me of Marilyn Monroe....but it makes it that much more special.
